The Ford F-150 is an American pick-up truck belonging to the F-series vehicles produced by the Ford Motor Company since 1947! The F-150 model debuted on the market in 1975 and is still produced. The serial production of the F series cars was initially concentrated mainly in the USA, and more precisely in such cities as: Dearborn in Michigan, Edison in New Jersey or Norfolk in Virginia. The F-150 model was launched by the Ford Motor Company as an intermediate model between the F-100 and F-250 cars. It was therefore a classic supplement to the commercial offer of this concern. Of course, with the successive generations of the F series cars, the F-150 model also changed. The F-150 underwent quite thorough changes at the beginning of the 1990s, when the styling of the vehicle was significantly changed, as well as some mechanical components. The now commercially available version of the F-150 debuted in January 2014 at the Detroit Motor Show, and went on sale that same year. Compared to the previous generation, significant changes took place in the body style, which is distinguished by "C" -shaped headlights and a massive, chrome "grill". Based on the manufacturer's website, it can be concluded that the basic power units currently used in the F-150 model are engines with a capacity of 3.5 l, 3 l, 2.7 l, 3.3 l and 5 l with 6 or 8 cylinders. Their power is up to 450 HP! The Ford F-150 is also now available in several trim levels, for example: XL (available in the US for around $ 28,500), Raptor (available for around $ 53,400), and Limited (available for around $ 67,700).
