The Nagmachon is a modern Israeli tracked infantry fighting vehicle (IFV). The drive is provided by a single motor ADVS-1790-2AC with a power of 750 hp. The car is armed with two 7.62 mm FN MAG machine guns.
Nagmachon was created to replace the M-113 vehicles in the Israeli army and as a development of the concept presented in the Nagma-Shot vehicle. It is characterized by an amazing, for a vehicle of this class, cover of the crew members and landing troops (max. 10 people). It has powerful armor, probably based on the experience gained from the exploitation of Merkava tanks, and great anti-mine protection. In the first production batches, the machine guns had a classic armor made of thin metal, but in later versions, a special "casemate" appeared in the middle of the fuselage, providing much better protection for the soldiers serving the armament of the vehicle. It is assumed that the Nagmachon vehicles are currently one of the best prepared for asymmetric IFV operations in the world. They are also fantastic for operation in urban areas. They were used by the Israeli army, including in the final phase of the Second Intifada (2000-2005) and in southern Lebanon in 2006.
