The Church of Our Lady Queen of the Holy Rosary in Boronów (Śląskie Voivodeship) dates back to the beginning of the 17th century, although the first church in this town was to be built in the 13th century. It was erected by Andrzej Dzierżanowski, the Gozdawa coat of arms, and the construction of this wooden temple was probably completed in 1611. It was erected on a Greek cross plan and is the oldest church of this type that has survived to this day in Silesia. The church has five altars. A large part of the liturgical equipment and sacred objects in the church comes from the 17th and 18th centuries. Originally, the temple was richly polychrome, but it was painted over during the reconstruction works. There is also a 20-meter belfry next to the church, and its first bell was founded in 1638. At present, it is the seat of the Roman Catholic parish here.
