St. Nicholas in Kozłów (Śląskie Voivodeship) is a historic temple with roots dating back to the full Middle Ages. The first source information about the church in Kozłów in today's Sośnicowice commune appears as early as in the 13th century, mentioning a brick building in the Romanesque style. Large fragments of this earliest part of the church have survived to this day and are now its presbytery. In the first half of the 16th century, the church of St. Nicholas was expanded, and most of all, a large part of the nave was added to it - almost certainly in the late Gothic style. At the end of this century, it became a church, and therefore a Protestant temple, but with the outflow of the faithful and the depopulation of the area, it slowly fell into ruin. At the end of the 19th century, it became a Catholic church again, and shortly afterwards its reconstruction began - in 1904 the roof was renovated, and by 1924 the temple was renovated and rebuilt. The re-consecration of the Church of St. Nicholas in Kozłów took place in 1928. One of the most valuable monuments in this church is a bell made in 1410 - probably for some of the troops returning from the victorious Battle of Grunwald.
