Master GM-35-012 ATK Mk 44 (Bushmaster II) 30mm gun barrel - used on KTO Rosomak and other vehicles (1pc)

The Mk44 Bushmaster II is an American 30mm autocannon from the Cold War and modern times. Work on this weapon began in the 1960s, and it entered service with the US Army in 1972 and remains in it today. Currently, the Northrop-Grumann defense concern is responsible for its production. The total mass of the cannon is 160 kilograms and its length is 3.405 meters, with the barrel length being 2.410 meters. The maximum rate of fire is up to 200 rounds per minute, and the initial velocity of the bullet fired from this cannon is up to 1080 m / s. The range of an effective shot at a land target is approx. 3000 meters. The presented weapon is a development of the M242 Bushmaster cannon, but in which the caliber was changed and a few design changes were introduced, including the barrel design and the technology of its manufacture. The cannon uses 30x173 mm ammunition and can fire various types of missiles, including API, HEI or APFSDS-T. The Mk44 Bushmaster II cannon is used, among others, on such vehicles as: Polish KTO Rosomak, Czech Pandur II, Finnish CV9030FIN or Romanian MOVAG Piranha V. It is worth adding that there is also a naval version of this cannon mounted on, among others, Japanese Hateruma-class ships or British destroyers Type 45.
