The Dassault Mirage 2000 is a French, single-engine fighter-attack aircraft with delta wings in a low wing configuration. The use of an automatically lowered leading edge associated with the movement of ailerons resulted in a change of profile, which further increased performance and controllability at low speeds. Five prototypes were built. The first flew on March 10, 1978, and the fifth - Mirage 2000B (two-seater training version) in October 1980. The first serial Mirage 2000C flew on November 20, 1982. An interesting version is also the Mirage2000N, capable of carrying nuclear weapons. According to Dessault Mirage 2000, it is capable of intercepting a target flying at an altitude of 25,000 meters at 3Ma within four minutes after take-off from the airport.
